BELL VIEW ARE SEEKING NEW TRUSTEES AND AN EXTERNAL DIRECTOR FOR OUR DAY CARE TRADING ARM

Bell View is a successful local charity based in Belford and covering North Northumberland.  Our mission is to support and enable older and vulnerable, disabled or disadvantaged people and those who care for them to “live well”.  We deliver services through our Charitable activities across the area, in our Resource Centre in Belford and through our two trading arms providing Help at Home and Day Care Services. We also partner with other charities and organisations.

For both roles a well-developed interest in the needs of older and vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged people in a rural and socially isolated environment is a given. For the Trustee role we are particularly looking for general business skills and financial understanding to support our growth and ideally skills in one or more of the following: environment, property, or facilities.
For the Day Care director the post holder will provide an external perspective to the existing Board drawn from the Trustees and will ideally understand the needs of our service users and well as having general business skills.
