Volunteering.

Please don’t hesitate to talk to us on 01668 219220 if you’d like to get involved in volunteering. You can join us for a taster before even completing an application form (application forms can also be downloaded at the bottom of this page)!

Volunteers play a vital role in the work of Bell View.  We currently have over 75 volunteers and without their enthusiasm and support we would not be able to offer such a comprehensive range of activities and services.

Volunteers support our work in the following areas:

The Hub community cafe:  helping to serve tea and coffee, light lunches and cakes.  No cooking required!

Community transport:  Volunteers take people where they need to go, either using our community transport or using their own vehicles.

Gardening:  Volunteers help in our 'potting shed' garden, growing fruit and vegetables and also with our therapy garden.

Luncheon clubs and coffee breaks:  Volunteers help with the sessions in Belford, Seahouses, Beadnell and Bowsden.

Food project: Volunteers help prepare vegetables, collect and distribute food.

Fundraising events:  We hold regular events throughout the year and volunteers help with selling raffle tickets, running stalls, serving refreshments.

Reception and administration Volunteers help with tasks such as photocopying, collating monitoring figures, filing, answering the phone.

Volunteering can be flexible and fun - if you’re able to give us an hour a year of your time, you might be our next volunteer-in-waiting!
