OUR TRUSTEE BOARD
As a charity we are governed and guided by our Board of Trustees. These are the people who lead the charity and make key decisions about what we do. Our Trustees are all volunteers who give their time and considerable experience free of charge.
Our Board brings together impressive professional expertise from banking and finance to healthcare and local government. We benefit from Trustees with backgrounds in education, social care, and pastoral care alongside those with medical knowledge and council experience.
This diverse mix of skills - spanning banking, GP work, local council leadership, education, social care, community support and spiritual guidance - ensures our charity is well-governed and firmly rooted in both practical wisdom and community values. What unites all our Trustees is their genuine commitment to North Northumberland and their belief in community support. Their volunteer dedication means we can direct more resources straight to the people and communities we serve, while their varied expertise guides our decisions and strengthens our impact.
Our doors are always open to new Trustees and we would be particularly excited to hear from individuals with legal, HR or finance backgrounds. Please contact our Chair via email in the first instance to find more about joining our Board.
