A Festive Triumph: Belford’s Christmas Fair Weathers the Storm!
What a day we had on Saturday, 7th! Despite Storm Darragh doing its best to dampen our spirits (quite literally), our Belford Christmas Fair & Market was an absolute triumph of community resilience and holiday cheer.
First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible volunteers who showed up, set up, and powered through the challenging weather conditions. Your dedication turned what could have been a washout into a wonderfully warm and festive event. Thank you also to our stall holders, who stood firm against the wind and rain, creating a vibrant marketplace that buzzed with excitement and seasonal spirit. Your creativity, products, and infectious enthusiasm made the day a resounding success.
And let's not forget our most soggy but steadfast guests – Alfie and Arthur, the wonderful alpacas! These two woolly troopers joined us despite the ravages of Storm Darragh, bringing smiles and charm to everyone who met them. They perfectly captured the resilient mood of the day.
The fair was bustling, busy, and absolutely brilliant. From festive crafts to delicious treats, from cheerful conversations to the warmth of community support, it was a day that truly embodied the magic of the holiday season.
Thank you to everyone who made this day so special – and of course to Father Christmas! Here's to community, creativity, and the power of coming together – come rain or shine!
