Day Care.
Bell View Day Care Centre is a purpose built facility based in the Resource Centre in Belford and offers a secure, happy environment for people living in North Northumberland. We are open 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) and using our own wheelchair-accessible transport, we are able to collect and return clients each day.
We provide an extensive activities programme and all these activities are based on encouraging clients to maintain their optimum independence both physically and mentally. We aim to provide the highest quality stimulating, sociable and caring service. We provide a two course freshly-cooked meal every day as well as home made cakes and scones.
We also have state-of-the-art bathing facilities for anyone who wishes to use them or if they are unable to use their own bathing facilities at home. Staff always ensure that this is a relaxing, positive experience for all.
All our staff are experienced care givers and we have a comprehensive ongoing staff training programme.
Individuals are either referred to us via Social Services or contact us directly. Everyone is assessed prior to coming to Day Care to ensure we can cater for their needs. We also offer a “taster day” for anyone who is unsure what the service entails and would like to try it our first.
