Pyramids, Otherworldly Visitors and Falafel!

Steve Newman, our local adventurer and Egyptologist, took us on a mind-bending journey through the mysteries of Ancient Egypt. Just when we thought we knew everything about pharaohs, mummies, and elaborate tombs, Steve hit us with some truly out-of-this-world theories.

Who'd have thought that ancient Egyptians may have had contact with alien civilizations? Steve presented compelling evidence of anomalous artifacts and intricate engineering marvels that have baffled academics for centuries. Were the builders of the pyramids getting a little extra-terrestrial help? The truth is out there, folks!

Steve also shed light on the puzzling presence of something decidedly more modern in ancient Egyptian excavation sites - battery-operated torches! That's right, what we thought were ancient lamps may have been powered by primitive batteries. Talk about an ancient battery-powered rave in the tombs!

After Steve's mind-blowing presentation, we all worked up quite an appetite for more information whilst enjoying a falafel supper.  We’ ll never look at a pyramid the same way again. Maybe next time we'll get the alien contractors' perspective?  In the meantime, that donations raised £80 for Comic Relief.  Thank you Steve!
